Halo: Combat Evolved – Anniversary

I found this game in Tesco while late night shopping last night, 3 days before release. I had to get it. The game came with two DLC cards with 5 codes. Inside the manual there’s a URL for more information, but at the time of writing this the page isn’t up, and comes back with an error.

The Five Codes:

Halo: Anniversary Map Pack for Halo: Reach

Grunt Funeral Skull

Master Chief Avatar Armour (Male)

Master Chief Avatar Armour (Female)

2- day Gold Trial

The Game:

I love the Halo series, I played the original for many hours. I’m so glad that they’ve released it for the 360. I love this game and it’s so nice to get achievements for playing it. Yes, I am a bit of an achievement junkie!

I noticed theres not really any reference to Bungie, apart from in the credits (if I’m not mistaken). There does seem to be some bugs with the audio and animations. Which was a little off putting at first, but after playing for a few hours I’ve gotten used to them. The graphics aren’t as HD as I thought they would be. It’s somewhere between Halo 3 and Reach, I’m not saying that they’re bad, they’re actually amazing compared to the original and for the price of £28 you can’t really grumble for a game thats just been released, even if it is 10 years old.
